Significant decrease in danger of moist avalanches as the temperature drops. In particular on extremely steep grassy slopes more small gliding avalanches are possible until the evening.
Snowpack
>
At high altitude snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. At low and intermediate altitudes less snow than usual is lying. The snowpack will be generally stable. The surface of the snowpack will freeze to form a strong crust and will hardly soften at all.
Tendency
As a consequence of new snow and wind there will be a rapid increase in the danger of dry avalanches to level 2 (moderate).
