New snow and wind slabs require caution.
As a consequence of a light to moderate wind, extensive wind slabs formed in the last few days in particular in the east and in the south. The wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant on east to southeast to southwest facing aspects in high Alpine regions. In isolated cases Explanation: "these" may only stand for "these avalanches" are medium-sized. The fresh and older wind slabs are to be avoided in all aspects above approximately 2200 m.
The new snow can be released easily, even by a single winter sport participant in all aspects above approximately 1800 m. These are rather small.

Snowpack
>Over a wide area up to 5 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, will fall until midday in all altitude zones. At the southern and eastern borders of Aran snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. As a consequence of low temperatures the snowpack became faceted during the last few days and has therefore lost strength. Towards its base, the snowpack is favourably layered.
