Avalanche Problem
Persistent weak layer

2100m

Wet snow

Weakly bonded old snow in shady places that are protected from the wind. Gliding avalanches and moist snow slides as the day progresses.
The wind slabs of the weekend are lying on unfavourable layers in particular on wind-protected shady slopes above approximately 2100 m. These can as before be released, even by a single winter sport participant. In many cases the avalanches in these loacations are medium-sized.
Very steep sunny slopes above approximately 2000 m: From origins in starting zones where no previous releases have taken place gliding avalanches and moist snow slides are possible from midday, but they will be mostly small.

Weak layers in the old snowpack necessitate caution.
Snowpack
>
The wind slabs of the weekend have bonded quite well with the old snowpack on sunny slopes. These are lying on weak layers on wind-protected shady slopes above approximately 2100 m. Field observations and stability tests indicate the unfavourable bonding of the snowpack.

At intermediate and high altitudes snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. At low altitude from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying.
Tendency
The danger of dry and moist avalanches will persist.
