With immediate effect, the avalanche danger will be assessed twice a day (at 8 am and 5 pm).
New snow represents the main danger.
The new snow of the last few days can be released easily, or, in isolated cases, naturally on very steep north and west facing slopes above approximately 2000 m. Avalanches are only small.

Snowpack

The snowpack is not distinctly layered; its surface is loosely bonded and consists of surface hoar and faceted crystals. Below approximately 2000 m from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying. At higher altitudes there are 30 to 50 cm of snow, but less in some localities.
