Gliding snow
Gliding avalanches are the main danger.
The early morning will see favourable avalanche conditions. As the day progresses as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation there will be a gradual increase in the danger of gliding avalanches to level 2 (moderate). The avalanche prone locations for gliding avalanches are to be found on very steep sunny slopes in all altitude zones. Caution is to be exercised in areas with glide cracks.

On Friday it will be exceptionally warm.
The snowpack will be generally moist. Sunny slopes: The surface of the snowpack will freeze to form a strong crust and will already soften in the late morning.
Shady slopes and above approximately 2000 m: The surface of the snowpack will hardly soften at all. There is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface.

Saturday: Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be quite good. As the temperature drops there will be a decrease in the danger of gliding avalanches to level 1 (low).
