In all aspects individual small gliding avalanches and moist snow slides are possible as the penetration by moisture increases. This applies on very steep slopes below approximately 2100 m.
The conditions are treacherous for ski touring and snowshoe hiking outside marked and open pistes. Apart from the danger of being buried, restraint should be exercised as well in view of the danger of avalanches sweeping people along and giving rise to falls.
