The Avalanche Warning Service currently has only a small amount of information that has been collected in the high Alpine regions, so that the avalanche danger should be investigated especially thoroughly in the relevant locality.
Wind slabs and gliding snow require caution.
The new snow-covered wind slabs of the last few days can still be released in some cases at intermediate and high altitudes. As a consequence of new snow and a sometimes strong southerly wind, further wind slabs will form in the course of the day especially at the southern and eastern borders of Aran. These are shallow.
Very steep grassy slopes: Gliding avalanches require caution. Sometimes Explanation: "these" may only stand for "these avalanches" are medium-sized.
Very steep slopes: Dry snow slides are possible, but they will be mostly small. Backcountry touring calls for meticulous route selection.

Snowpack
>
80 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, has fallen since Saturday above approximately 1500 m. The new snow of the last few days has settled a little. The snowpack is not distinctly layered and has a loosely bonded surface. In particular adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas intermediate and high altitudes: The gusty wind has transported the new snow significantly. For this reason snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. Wednesday: Some snow will fall in particular at the southern and eastern borders of Aran. The wind will be moderate in some localities. The southerly wind will transport the new snow.
Tendency
Thursday: Significant increase in danger of gliding avalanches and moist snow slides as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation.
