Wet snow

Wind slabs at elevated altitudes. Dry and moist snow slides.
Adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls: The new snow and wind slabs can be released in some cases at intermediate and high altitudes. The avalanches are rather small. Especially shady places that are protected from the wind: Medium-sized avalanches are further to be expected.
At the border to Ribagorça and Pallars the avalanche prone locations are more prevalent.
Sunny slopes and low altitudes: As the day progresses small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized dry and moist snow slides are possible. These can be released by a single winter sport participant or triggered naturally. On steep grassy slopes more small and medium-sized gliding avalanches are possible.
Experience in the assessment of avalanche danger is required.

Snowpack
>
Evening: Over a wide area 5 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, has fallen above approximately 1600 m.
Monday: The weather will be sunny at times.
High altitudes: The new snow-covered wind slabs of yesterday are lying on a crust. Towards its base, the snowpack is weak. In particular low altitudes: The snowpack will be generally wet all the way through.
At intermediate altitudes there are 150 to 200 cm of snow, and even more in some localities.
