The Avalanche Warning Service currently has only a small amount of information that has been collected in the high Alpine regions, so that the avalanche danger should be investigated especially thoroughly in the relevant locality.
Fresh wind slabs require caution.
As a consequence of new snow and wind dry slab avalanches are possible, but they will be mostly small. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on near-ridge shady slopes at high altitude. In some cases the wind slabs have bonded poorly with the old snowpack.
Snowpack
The snowpack will be unstable from the western border of Aran via the southern area of Aran to the eastern border of Aran.
Tendency
Gradual decrease in danger of dry avalanches as a consequence of warming during the day.
